ILLINOIS TEEN BIBLE QUIZ

For the second year in a row Illinois Teen Bible Quizzers finished first in Regional Competition held on May 7th and 8th in Elkhardt, Indiana. The “A” Division Team from Meadowbrook Community Church in Champaign went undefeated and will be representing Illinois at Nationals in Detroit, Michigan in July.

In addition to the team finishing first, Jacob Wyatt was the top quizzer in the Region averaging 131 points per quiz while quizzing out in 13 of the team’s 14 quizzes. Hillari Wyatt was the Region’s fifth top quizzer averaging 80 points per quiz and quizzed out 12 times.

Courtney Walin from Stone Church in Palos Heights finished as the Region’s third top quizzer averaging 103 points per quiz and quizzed out 10 times.

Teams competing at Regionals from Illinois were Meadowbrook Community and Stone Church in both the “A” and “Novice” Divisions.

Illinois Teen Bible Quiz is available to students in 6th through 12th grade. The 2010 – 2011 quiz year begins in October and the Gospel of John will be studied.
