JUNIOR BIBLE QUIZ

The 2009-2010 Junior Bible Quiz season was a huge success. Over 350 children and their parents and coaches grew in their knowledge of God and His Word. From a spiritual point of view, seeing families come together studying about God was richly rewarding. On the competitive side of things, teams from all over Illinois competed in four different leagues throughout the quiz season in preparation for our Final District competition held in Springfield, IL on April 17, 2010. Nearly 200 quizzers from 43 teams converged on Calvary Temple that day to compete on four different levels of competition. At the end of the day, 1st Assembly of God from Rockford was the A level champion; New Life Covenant Church from Chicago won the B level; the C level champion was Calvary Church from Naperville; and the X level was won by Normal Assembly of God in Normal. Also receiving awards for demonstrating mastery of the JBQ material were 9 individuals who completed their Master Seal. Congratulations to everyone in JBQ this season!
